February 2012 - Open Days in Neath Shop prove to be an 'Enormous Success'
While launching the 2012 Holiday and Day Trip Brochure, we have hosted a series of 'open days' at our Coach Holiday Shop in Neath Town Centre. The event offered visitors an opportunity to meet the staff behind our family run business, while enjoying refreshments, (including Hannah's delicious homemade Welsh Cakes! ) all topped off with a day trip to Carmarthen, which we were delighted to provide free of charge.
D.J. Thomas Director, Andrea Gibson commented "This has been an enormously successful event, providing a great opportunity to meet customers old & new to discuss the fantastic range of Holidays and Day Trips we are offering in 2012".
Andrea continues, "As a local Coach Holiday operator, it is very important to us that customers understand our personal commitment to the success of their Holiday or Trip. Decades of local experience working in this area offers a distinct advantage over other operators, particularly ensuring no feeder changes, just the same coach from the time you board, for the duration of your break."
The popularity of our very first open day event's, has resulted in interest from across south Wales and a 'mountain of bookings' so this is certainly something we shall be doing again. As customer Mr J Davies from Cimla added, " with a local company, where you can actually meet face to face the people organising your holiday, why would you go away with anyone else ?, they also make exceedingly good 'Welsh' Cakes !”
June 2011 - D.J. Thomas Coach Holidays launches with new shop in Neath Town Centre
2011 promises to be a memorable year for D.J. Thomas with the opening of our new 'Coach Holiday Shop'. Situated in Charleville Place, in Neath Town Centre, we have now put together an exciting range of Day Trips, 5 & 7 Day Tours, Theatre Trips and so much more

August 2010 - New Vanhool T9 to join the fleet
We are delighted to announce that in mid-August we take delivery of a brand new 53 seat, tri-axle Vanhool coach. Built around a Volvo B12BT, we expect this stunning new addition to the fleet to be on the road by early September, so keep your eyes peeled, as it's sure to stand out from the crowd !
Over the past three years, we have added a number of brand new vehicles to the fleet, affording our customers the pinnacle of luxury travel as standard. Director, Richard Thomas commented 'The benefits of a modern fleet are tremendous, on the one hand we are able to offer our customers the very best in comfort and safety, while operating reliable, eco-friendly transport, to the latest European standards, it really is a win-win situation for everyone."
The only problem with the arrival of a new coach at our Milland Road HQ is who gets to drive this new addition to the fleet, but we are certain there will be no shortage of volunteers.
